Racers lined up for the start of Red Bull Beach Scramble

Red Bull Beach Scramble 2023

This past Saturday the Pine Barrens Powersports crew hit the road and went down to Wildwood, New Jersey for the 1st Red Bull Beach Scramble. The Red Bull Beach Scramble is one of the stops on the circuit of side by side (UTV) races held around the country. The Beach Scramble consisted of two classes for the event which were the SxS Pro class and the SxS Sportsman class in which drivers raced on the roughly 2 mile course on the beach.

As the crowd rolled in the event kicked off at 9am starting with multiple qualifying races that ran until around 2pm. Drivers gave it their all trying to compete for the top qualifying positions in their respected classes which consisted of some rubbing, bumping in the turns, broken parts, and even some rollovers. Luckily no one was injured thanks to racers running proper safety equipment. The first main race kicked off at 3pm which was the sportsman class followed by the pro class.

Both races consisted of great racing by all drivers who battled it out HARD to see who would come out on top in their class on the roughly 2 mile course on the beach. In the SxS Pro class Hunter Miller took home the win in his Can-Am Maverick X3. Hunter also won King Of The Hammers in 2020 as well. Overall we had an amazing time down in Wildwood for the Red Bull Beach Scramble and we look forward to next year!
